THE MAGIC OF NUMBERS (Interactive math shows)

The Shows
Three 45 minute interactive math shows, delivered in a fun way to maximise learning and memory retention. These shows have been well received across the UK since 1999. They were initially built from the 5 – 14 curriculum guidelines and have been continually changed and adapted, based on comments from individual schools, to satisfy the continual changes in education. Although they are not a substitute for professional teaching methods, each show delivers various key concepts and easy approaches to mental arithmetic so that when these concepts are covered by a teacher, the children find them easier to understand. This all helps towards a more efficient learning process. The content of each show can be seen below.

Primary 1 - 3
Number order; Reverse number order; Simple tables (2 & 10); Shape recognition; Add & Subtract; Using Money; Simple Fractions; Time; Team Work

Primary 4 & 5
Number order; Add & Subtract; Multiplying & Dividing by 10; Tables (7 & 9); 3 D shapes; Fractions; Graphical Information; Team Work

Primary 6 & 7
